Hi, I'm Eric and this is me at the Naples Museum. One of the best aspects about our trip to Italy was the opportunity to show my son a lot of the places like this that I had visited and worked at over several seasons as a student of archaeology. The start of a day doesn’t get much better than a high terrace view of Rome with espresso and fresh Italian pastries...but sharing that experience this time around with my family made it even better.

Carrie
Hi, I'm Carrie and I live in Pennsylvania. This is my second trip to Rome. The first time I visited I was a college student and really didn't plan anything in advance so I ended up wandering around Rome without any idea what I wanted to see or do. It was a lot of fun, but this time I wanted to make sure to see places like the Colosseum! Not only did we get to see so many celebrated and important places with our tour but we had time on our own to explore and make sure we got to see almost everything on our "to do" list.
Evan was a particularly good navigator. Not only does he have a great sense of direction but he paid attention to our tour guide's lessons on navigating the city. Eric and I ... not so much. We got lost trying to find our way back to our hotel after going out for dinner!
I think one of my favorite things about Rome is how close history is when you are here. Everyday life is lived right alongside (and on top of) ancient ruins.

Evan
Hi, my name is Evan. I have always loved to travel and have had a passion for Rome since I was very young. For me, seeing the city of Rome was a dream come true and I enjoyed every second of it. I loved the culture and look of the city but most of all I liked the history. We went on this trip during the summer break separating my freshman and sophomore years in high school. I really enjoyed this trip and hope to take another one soon.
